Meredith Strmac, Assistant Principal

I love learning and truly consider myself a life long learner. I completed my B.A. from Clemson University (GO TIGERS!) in Secondary Education: English. I earned my M.Ed in Educational Leadership from Kennesaw State University in 2014 and my M.S. in Academic Advising in 2018. This past May, I started doctorate courses through Clemson. My teaching career began at Berkeley High School in Moncks Corner, SC in 2010. When my parents moved from my childhood home in Atlanta to Bluffton in 2016, I was ready for a change of scenery, and moved to Beaufort County in 2017. I was an English teacher at HHIHS for two years, before moving into administration as the Assistant Director of Alternative Education in 2019-2020. Last school year, I served as the Student Resource Coordinator, which allowed me to serve as the student discipline hearing officer. I have learned a lot since my time in Beaufort County, but one thing I have always known to be true is that my heart is with working with students. I am ecstatic to be a part of the MRHS family!
